ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Fueled by movement, imagination, and lived experiences, my work explores how images can carry emotion.

I move between painting, digital illustration, and photography, each medium offering a different way to shape perception.

My work is rooted in a sense of play, curiosity, and openness. It seeks to create simple entry points, while leaving space for deeper personal interpretation.

Rather than imposing meaning, I aim to create images that resonate, inviting viewers to reconnect with instinct, imagination, and a sense of wonder.

YONEL

Yonel is a recurring figure at the center of my work. He embodies a space between movement and stillness, control and letting go, shaped by influences from skateboarding, extreme sports, and digital culture.

Through Yonel, I build a visual language that is both direct and open, where each piece becomes an experience rather than a fixed narrative.

The work is presented through selected contexts and collaborations, allowing the universe to evolve while remaining coherent.

SEED, ORIGINS

As a child, I was introduced to digital worlds through an Atari ST. That moment stayed with me, the idea that images could become spaces.

At the same time, I was drawn to movement through water and boards. where balance, flow, and rhythm become a language of their own.

I started creating early. Drawing, building small worlds, experimenting with stop-motion, frame by frame, turning stillness into movement.

I also remember my younger brother once looking inside a console, searching for a character he believed was physically there. That moment stayed with me, the fragile line between illusion and belief.

Between analog gestures and digital exploration, I learned to navigate two languages: one of precision, one of instinct.

What fascinated me most was not the image itself, but the invisible boundary where fiction begins to feel real.

From that space, Yonel emerged, a way to explore balance, perception, and the tension between control and letting go.

That curiosity became the foundation of my work today.
